Spooky or Scary?

Personally, I don't like being scared. I will watch the occasional horror movie with friends, but I much prefer the cute nostalgia of Halloween-themed movies over serial killers. That's not to say that thrillers don't have their place! Some scary movies, like 'IT' or 'The Shining', are cinematic masterpieces with intricate plots of their own. However, if you'd like to skip the gore, this site is for you.

What About TV?

For this site, I wanted to focus just on Halloween movies. As a kid, special holiday episodes on Disney Channel were the highlight of the Halloween season, but not all can stand alone. Not everyone is willing to watch a full season of 'Suite Life' just to enjoy Esteban's iconic seance scene. I wanted to recommend movies because you don't need any previous context to enjoy them.
